Tom Heal, CCIM has been in commercial-investment real estate for over 37 years. He is a former commercial real estate appraiser of thirteen years, in which he qualified and testified as an expert witness in various Utah courts. Additional services have included brokerage, investment analysis, feasibility studies, market studies, negotiation and consulting.
Total volume of real estate activities over his career approaches $2 Billion. He has been ranked in the top 1% of all commercial brokers nationally in sales.
He has served in the corporate side of real estate, having been a Regional Vice President of Real Estate for a Kemper Insurance company, and was President of Forum Equities, both in Dallas, Texas.
He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the CCIM Institute, the highest and most prestigious designation offered in the industry. He is affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, and the Utah Association of Realtors.
Tom has been active in his community having served with the Provo Rotary Club, and has been an investor and member of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah. He has served as a Trustee of Utah Valley University, Chair of the Utah Valley University Foundation, and President of the Utah Valley University Alumni Board. He has served as a Trustee of the Provo Theatre Company.
Personal interests include parachuting and SCUBA diving. He flies airplanes and is an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He holds an FAA Commercial Certificate as a hot air balloon pilot. He served as a Green Beret in the 19th Special Forces for five years, and was publisher and editor of an international travel report for SCUBA divers, titled, Off-The-Wall, The Serious Diver’s Guide to Unspoiled, Off-the-Beaten-Path Dive Destinations.
